AKAPP Multiconductor
Compact, reliable and safe 7-pole current supply system for cranes, hoists, monorail systems, automated warehouses etc. World wide usage installed indoors and outdoors in high and low temperatures and in extreme weather conditions. The unique flexible sealing provides suitability for dusty, humid and corrosive environments.

Main product's features:
Continuous copper conductors. The flat copper conductors can be pulled from rolls into the previously installed PVC housing in long continuous lengths, without any connections in the conductor, thus avoiding problems associated with added resistance at joints and increased volt drop characteristics when joints loosen or corrode.
Exceptionally long carbon brush life achieved due to the absence of conductor joints and connectors which ensures trouble free operation. Because of the continuous copper conductors combined with the constant and efficient contact between carbon brushes and flat copper conductors. AKAPP Multiconductor is ideally suited and proven for both control and data signal transmission e.g. very important for automated/computerised warehouse systems.
Track lengths unlimited. Extremely long track lengths are possible when required either indoors/outdoors, by utilising the AKAPP expansion joint which still incorporates continuous copper conductors.
High travel speeds. Standard up to 250 meters/minute. Higher speeds on request.
High current capacity. Copper conductors with a variation of sections can be pulled into the channels in the housing. Standard up to 320A. For higher ratings please consult the AKAPP sales office.
High safety. In various countries, AKAPP Multiconductor systems are approved by Inspection Authorities e.g. SEV, CSA etc., where the quality and safety of equipment is essential.
Integrated Positioning System (optional). For the easy positioning of movable apparatus such as skippers and traverse cars, AKAPP Multiconductor can be fitted with a special pulse strip and pulse detectors. With an additional PLC application, one can realise a fully automatic transport system.
AKAPP 4-Ductor
Economic 4-pole current supply system with all features of Multiconductor at an agreeable price.
High current capacity. Copper conductors with a variation of sections can be pulled into the channels in the housing. Standard up to 160A. For higher ratings please consult our sales office.
High mechanical strength. The PVC housing has a combination of high flexural yield, impact and tensile strength and is complemented by the design of associated components.

AKAPP Click-Ductor
The easy-to-mount AKAPP 7-pole conductor bar with pre-mounted copper conductors.
Standard length of each housing is 4 m
Connecting housing and copper conductor to each other can be done very easy and fast by means of special developed copper clamps and plastic joints based on the well-designed clicksystem by which the conductors are mutually connected without screws and without usage of any tools.
Quick and easy installation.
Track lengths up to 200 m (including central feeding) can be obtained.
Current capacity up to 160 A.

The AV and AVS series
Spring driven cable reels with wide drums and flange mounting are built with modular components which allows a great number of combinations covering most common requirements. The spring reels are strong and well designed in order to guarantee the highest reliability even in difficult applications. All reels are equipped with two totally sealed bearings which are lubricated for lifetime. The special design features well dimensioned shaft and bearings which allows easy and fast exchange of springs. Furthermore the sliprings are build in a totally sealed and modular unit, fully separated from the mechanical parts.
Some important characteristics of the AV serie:
Main spring: The springs are made of high-grade special steel which guarantees a long lifetime. Every spring is mounted inside a spring housing in order to avoid friction and wear. The springs can be replaced without removing the drum.
Sliprings: The slipring assembly is mounted in a solid glassfiber reinforced plastic housing which withstands corrosion and mechanical wear. The housing is designed to minimise condensation and to guarantee complete water tightness through glands and seals. Protection: IP65/66.
Cable guide: a guide arm with roller guide (optional accessoire) prevents de-formation of the cable, e.g. bending. This increases the service life of the cable. Especially useful for manual winding operation.
Ratchet: This optional feature can be engaged when continuous spring tension is not required, e.g. hand tools.
Finish:Corrosion protection is also a major feature with AVS reels. All steel plates and parts are either hot dip galvanised or have a polyester coating. Standard with stainless steel bolts and nuts. As option, all external parts can be fitted in hot dip galvanised steel with additional coating.
